Swedish ventilation and climate systems supplier Swegon AB is to acquire the British Coolmation Group.
Coolmation had a turnover of around £8 million in 2012 and claims to be one of UK's fastest growing chiller and Air Conditioning companies. The Coolmation group consists of three business areas including sales, service and rental.

The company is located in Ringwood in southern England with four additional offices around the country, and employs 70 staff.

'With 30 years of experience Coolmation is established in the UK as a reliable product and service provider of chillers and we see this acquisition as an excellent opportunity to grow in one of our prioritized markets', said Swegon CEO Hannu Saastamoinen.

He added: 'The acquisition will increase our UK market share by providing an additional channel for sales of our Blue Box products.'
