Sustainable Ecodan wins recognition

The Ecodan range of residential heating products has received recognition by securing the Rushlight Ground and Air Source Power Award at a prestigious black tie event held at London’s New Connaught Rooms last week.
The judges praised Ecodan for 'the ease with which it can be installed, the diversity of dwellings it can be fitted to, cost recovery and the opportunity for reaching the mass market'.

The Rushlight awards are organised as a celebration and promotion of the leading organisations throughout the UK and Ireland which have furthered environmental technology and innovation in the fields of renewable energy, clean fuels, power generation, water, waste and pollution management.

'We are always delighted to get recognition for the important role Ecodan can play in helping reduce both the emissions and running costs of UK homes, but it is especially pleasing to receive this recognition from another industry sector,' explained John Kellett, general manager of the heating division who collected the award on the night.
