Sponsorship gives Jamie Poole the edge

Support from building services sponsorship has sent Jamie Poole to the European rounds of the 2011 Ducati 848 Challenge, moving him up to sixth position for the UK rounds.
Sponsorship gives Jamie Poole the edge
Mr Poole has been supported as a competitive motorcyclist by sponsorship from BSD, Hoval, Envirotec and Uniflair.

A mechanical associate with consulting engineer BSD, he said he had found the sponsorship from these building services companies invaluable.

Speaking about their help he said: 'Basically, without the sponsorship we wouldn't be able to do it; their support has made all the difference. It's also great that we have managed to source the team's sponsorship from building services companies, as the racing gets so many people talking - from the clients to the site staff.

'In the first few rounds we've been fine-tuning the bike to get what we need and I've been adjusting my style as well. We're now well positioned to get higher up the rankings - hopefully to a podium at the end of the season.'

The 2011 Ducati 848 challenge runs as a support race to the British Superbike Championship, in eight races held between April and September.
