Spirotech appoints new UK business director

Spirotech, specialist in solutions for conditioning fluids in HVAC and process installations, has appointed Rob Jacques as UK business director.

Rob Jacque, UK business director at Spirotech

Mr Jaqcues, who was national key account and technical sales manager, has been with the company for 10 years, but has worked in the mechanical and industrial engineering industry for more than 21 years.

He said he had been lucky enough to have worked with some very talented individuals, both presently and in previous roles, and with the support of the very dedicated team he looked forward to using all that he had learned to further strengthen the company’s position in both commercial and domestic markets.

“We have a great product, a very well established name in the industry, and collectively a lot of experience in what is a very competitive marketplace. I see great opportunities,” he said.

Spirotech in the UK partners with some of the country’s best known brands, from major pump and boiler manufacturers, to leading suppliers and installers of energy centres and district heating systems. It also partners with local authorities and the education sector.

Mr Jacques added: “A key objective will be to build on existing relationships and develop positive new ones, including the large specification houses through to independent consultants, while not losing sight of the installer.

“We want to be a lifetime partner, there at the beginning to help with the system design through to the end, making sure the commissioning and after sales service are the best they can be.

“In this way we can guarantee customers will get the best from the products they invest in, and after all quality counts in the long run.”

He said he also hoped to re-engage with post-graduates and others new to the industry, using CPD presentations to build their knowledge of the company’s extensive product range and of issues such as pressurisation, vacuum degassing, and air and dirt separation.
