Specflue, the supplier of renewable heat products and flue systems, is expanding its business and opening a northern depot in early summer 2014.
The new facility is expected to create around 12 new jobs and will allow Specflue to offer businesses in northern England and Scotland an improved service that equals that already offered to its customers in the south. The final decision on where the depot will be located is still to be made. However, all options are ideally located to serve the north west and north east of England and the central lowlands of Scotland.
The company's managing director, Jeremy Fry, said: 'Crucially for us, we need to ensure that the final site chosen will provide us with the scope for future expansion. This is a long-term investment for us and supports Specflue's ongoing commitment to providing superior levels of service and support in the flue and renewable heat market.'
The new depot will stock the full range of Specflue products: flue and chimney items, wood burning stoves and renewable heat products including pellet stoves, pellet boilers and solar thermal. In addition, the depot will give the business the ability to offer its customers in the north, free next day delivery using the company's own van fleet.
