Space Air focus on 'realignment and recruitment'

Space Air conditioning has recruited numerous staff across departments as part of a realignment of responsibilities at the company.

The changes at Space Air include the creation of a new engineering department, which was formerly the technical after-sales team, and there has been increased staffing levels to add to this team of engineering technicians. The team now will work much more closely with the business development and specialist sales teams on project work.

The team of R22 replacement advisors, headed up by Tim Boxall are now supported by Glenn Cooke and Dave Atkins, along with a newly created national consulting sales group, both of which operate as part of the business development department. The new group includes senior representatives in Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.

In Guildford, in addition to new sales support staff, new appointments include Nadia Truttero as consulting sales engineer, Chris Stanley as a consulting sales manager and Mitch Annsselin as applications/sales manager.

Mike Nankivell, marketing and business development director said of the appointments: 'Our business philosophy has always been to provide well engineered solutions based on Daikin products, this realignment and recruitment programme brings together unsurpassed expertise in Daikin technologies and enables us to offer our customers and particularly specifying clients the benefit of a cohesive team approach to any application.'
