Smith's achieves ISO 9001 benchmark for quality

Domestic and light commercial fan convector manufacturer Smith's Environmental Products has achieved ISO 9001:2008 quality management certification.
The company said: 'With only around 8 per cent of UK businesses holding this certificate, Smith's Environmental Products is now at the forefront of quality service and customer care.'
Gary Webster, managing director of Smith's Environmental Products, added: 'The ISO 9001 standard recognises the quality of our products and our manufacturing process. It also reflects the monitoring of all our fan convectors from sales to dispatch, as well as the staffing skills at all levels of the business.'
The ISO certification is the latest of many for Smith's, as it follows the company achieving full safety and EMF EN62233 standards for the latest evolution of its Hydroflame flame effect fan convector earlier in the year.
