SKILLcard enables online checks

Engineering Services SKILLcard has launched a redesigned website for people working in the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
SKILLcard enables online checks
The new site is easier to use and navigate, says the organisation, which has issued more than 100,000 SKILLcards since its launch in 2001.

The scheme, which is open to anybody working in the hvacr sector, is designed to allow individual workers to demonstrate their skills, occupational competence and qualifications, including an awareness of health and safety, enabling them to access many construction sites.

For employers, a cardholding workforce is said to reassure clients of the professionalism, competence and qualifications of individual employees, helping them to win and retain business.
