Shoreheat buys UK Gas spares

Heating parts supplier Shoreheat, owned by the Grafton Group, has acquired UK Gas Spares based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Established in 1981, the Progress Group (trading as Shoreheat) supplies heating spares to the trade, local authorities, housing associations and national health trusts.

Shoreheat branches are concentrated in the South, Midlands and North West. The purchase of UK Gas Spares brings the total number of branch locations to 18.

Graeme Holton, managing director of Progress Group, said 'The acquisition will extend the reach of our Shoreheat branches into West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. This growth will be based upon quality rather than quantity of branches'.

The Progress group is inviting enquiries from prospective staff around the UK, who would like to work for the group
