Samsung partners with Midsummer

Samsung, the climate solutions specialist, has joined forces with renewable products distributor Midsummer Energy.

Midsummer, which at the end of last year, won a Distributor of the Year award, recently celebrated its 15th anniversary with a re-brand and a move to a new distribution centre in Milton near Cambridge.

The partnership enables Samsung Climate Solutions to reach new customers through Midsummer’s established position in the Solar PV sector.

Speaking on the partnership, Kevin O’Leary, business manager, heating products at Samsung Climate Solutions said: “We look forward to working with the Midsummer team to bring our heat pump product offering to a wider customer base. Using heat pumps in combination with Solar PV is a compelling and complementary proposition, helping the UK to achieve its net zero carbon objectives.'

Jez Climas, head of renewable heat at Midsummer said: 'We're delighted to be partnering with Samsung Climate Solutions as we move into renewable heat. The quality, efficiency and flexibility of their products is excellent and fits perfectly with solar PV. We're excited to bring our expertise in distribution and our easy online ordering to this category.'
