Rob Fawkner has been appointed to the board of TROX UK as production director.

A chartered engineer, Mr Fawkner graduated from Cambridge University with a first class Bachelor's honours degree in Chemical Engineering, followed by a Master of Engineering. He began his career in 1988 as a process engineer with ICI before moving to BASF. He specialised in manufacturing management during the early 1990s. His first senior management role was as operations director for ICI Imagedata in 2001.

He has spent the last seven years in senior leadership roles within the HVAC sector. He was operations director at Heatrae Sadia before joining TROX in November 2011 as head of production.

As a member of the TROX UK board, he assumes responsibility for leading, developing and improving the production operation and supply chain. His role also involves growing TROX Group turnover and profitability in the UK as the company continues to expand its regional sales support network.
