Rob Driscoll joins ECA commercial team

Rob Driscoll has joined ECA as deputy director in the Business Policy and Practice department, which covers ECA’s legal and commercial representation and services.

Mr Driscoll is a qualified solicitor and mediator with extensive construction and FM experience, obtained in private practice and trade associations. He is widely known in the industry for his active contribution to dialogue between industry players and government on a range of business-related issues, on behalf of the engineering services sector.

Paul Reeve, ECA’s director of Business Policy and Practice (BPP) said: “We are very pleased to welcome Rob to the BPP team. His experience and proven capability will allow ECA, working with its partners, to further increase its representational impact, and help us to develop significant new member services.”

Mr Driscoll added: “I’ve admired the ECA’s vision and approach for some years, and I am extremely excited and optimistic about joining the ECA team. Working with others in our sector, we are in an excellent position to push for positive change in the industry. I’m also looking forward to developing new business support services for ECA members of all sizes.”  

Mr Driscoll is also an SME business advisor to the Cabinet Office and Crown Commercial Services. He is an active advocate of digital business solutions and, based on his personal experience, a passionate advocate of the commercial benefits of mentoring, diversity and wider inclusion in industry.
