Rinnai adds four courses to CPD training

Rinnai UK’s new programme of CPD training modules offers specifiers and designers the practical and energy saving benefits of continuous flow gas fired water heating.

Rinnai UK’s new programme of CPD training modules offers specifiers and designers the practical and energy saving benefits of continuous flow gas fired water heating.

Now the company has added four new modules to its CPD accredited portfolio: Continuous Flow Appreciation; Continuous Flow Sizing; Understanding L8 2014; and Energy Efficient Continuous Flow Water Heating.

Designed by Rinnai UK’s technical and compliance officer Ian Jenkins, the courses have been praised by CIBSE.

The new training events, which are aimed at M&E consultants and specifiers, design and build engineers, facilities managers and installing contractors, cover both traditional and new technologies for commercial water heating and highlight the considerable energy and monetary savings that can be achieved by using a continuous flow hot water system.

The courses, which can be as short as an hour or up to a whole day seminar, look in depth at new technologies that can realise current and future energy savings targets.

The five-hour Continuous Flow Appreciation course gives specifiers, installers and engineers an insight and grounding into the Rinnai organisation and its products and explores the principles of domestic hot water and the benefits of continuous flow. It also looks at flueing, temperature control, system design, water heater functionality and components and operation.

The 4.5-hour Continuous Flow Sizing module has been designed to give design engineers, specifiers and installers a good understanding of the parameters for sizing a continuous flow domestic hot water system as well as fundamental system design to ACOP L8 and G3.

Understanding L8 2014 which spans 2.5 hours will give installers, specifiers, consultants and building managers a basic understanding what ACOP L8 is and how a continuous flow DHW system helps to alleviate Legionella bacteria within the system.

Finally, for specifiers and consultants, Energy Efficient Continuous flow Water Heating is a one-hour pod offering a basic understanding of the concept of a continuous flow Water heater.

All speakers on the Rinnai CPD certified courses are highly experienced in their specialist fields with relevant professional qualifications. Courses can be arranged to suit individual requirements. They are available at Rinnai’s Runcorn, Cheshire HQ in its dedicated training facility or if preferred, Rinnai will take the module to the workplace or other venue convenient to delegates.

The courses supplement existing CPD Commercial Gas Fired Water Heating courses organised by Rinnai.
