September's London HEVAR 2008 is hosting a CPD accredited seminar programme for building services professionals to debate the industry's hottest issues.

Supported by CIBSE, the Heating and Ventilating Contractor's Association and ICOM Energy Association, the London HEVAR exhibition takes place on September 24-25 at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Victoria.

The HEVAR Knowledge Forum is a free seminar programme which sets out to clarify legislation affecting the building services sector and give advice to attendees from industry experts.

On day one (September 24) London HEVAR begins with the 'CIBSE Conference - Energy performance in buildings'.

Other seminars include 'How planning is going to affect what is installed', 'what the planners will allow' and 'getting the most from your planning officer' .

Day two (September 25) kicks off with 'The S Factor: Investigating alternative technologies'. This seminar considers Solar, Biomass, Heat Pumps, PV, CHP and Dynamic Demand.

Other seminars include 'Enforcement of legislation', 'How to become an energy assessor' and 'The heating industry is disappearing: A 2020 Vision Debate'

Attendees to London HEVAR also get access to the latest HVAC technology on the market and a chance to see the industry's top suppliers under one roof.

Time spent at London HEVAR 2008 contributes to industry professionals CPD requirements.
