Rehau heads for All Energy 2018

Rehau will be exhibiting at this year’s All Energy show at the SEC Glasgow from May 2-3, presenting its district heating solutions to the market and making connections with customers looking to install reliable, low carbon heating systems.

All Energy is the UK’s largest renewable energy event bringing together industry suppliers, experts and thought leaders from across the renewable energy supply chain. This year, the event is expected to attract some 7,500 visitors, more than 300 exhibitors and over 400 speakers from a cross section of industries.

Rehau  will be on Stand C48 at the two-day event to showcase its solutions for district heating, including the pre-insulated Rauvitherm and Rauthermex pipes.

Rauvitherm is a PE-Xa pipe suitable for use in district heating, biomass, biogas and heat pump applications. It boasts excellent flexibility due to its corrugated outer jacket, and it uses Rehau’s jointing technology to guarantee no leaks. Available in Uno (single pipe) and Duo (two pipes) variations, Rauvitherm is the only PE-Xa district heating pipe manufactured in the UK which saves an estimated 29 percent on CO2 emissions annually.

Rauthermex is also suited to a variety of low carbon heat installations and features high performance PU foam, which makes it ideal for large district heating installations over long distances where minimising heat losses is critical. The lightweight pipe offers huge advantages over traditional steel pipework due to the speed and ease of installation.

Rehau products like Rauvitherm and Rauthermex have been used on thousands of district heating projects worldwide. To share this wealth of experience and knowledge, Rehau’s All Energy stand will be staffed by its district heating experts who will be on hand to provide pipe design and sizing advice and to answer any product or installation questions visitors may have.

Steve Richmond, marketing and technical director from Rehau’s Building Solutions division said: “We came to the All Energy exhibition last year as a pre-launch for our Nexus hot tapping system for district heating installations and had such a positive response from visitors that we are back again this year.

“It’s a really unique and rewarding event to come to as it’s so focused on the renewable energy industry that everyone attending is interested in making a difference and helping the UK shift towards a low carbon future. So if you are one of the many visitors to the SEC in May, be sure to come along to see us and the products we have for a range of low carbon applications.”
