Qvantum appoints new MD for Europe's largest heat pump market

Qvantum has announced the appointment of Ghislain Bouillet as managing director in France. The appointment marks an important milestone for Qvantum’s expansion strategy with France being the largest heat pump market in Europe, supported by national electrification targets, energy security priorities and government-backed renovation incentives.

Ghislain Bouillet is the new Qvantum MD in France

Qvantum is rapidly expanding its European footprint and continued investment in France manifests the ambition to play a leading role in the decarbonization of Europe.

Ghislain will drive the commercial growth and strategic partnership agenda as well as the rollout of Qvantum’s next-generation heat pump powered energy systems. He has held several senior commercial roles in the industry and brings extensive experience of growth, transformation and strategic positioning working with, among others, Carrier and Nibe.

“Joining Qvantum is both an honor and an exciting challenge. France’s decarbonisation ambitions put transformation of urban heating at the very top of the national agenda. Qvantum’s digital and systemic approach to energy systems is exactly what the French market needs. I am convinced Qvantum has what it takes to develop in France, and I cannot wait to get started”, comments Ghislain Bouillet, MD of Qvantum France.

“France represents a strategically important market for us and for Europe’s broader energy transition. Qvantum as an energy-tech company provides innovative heat-pump systems that go beyond traditional offerings. Ghislain will help us to fulfill our vision to enable many people to live a life free from fossil fuel dependence. I wish him a warm welcome to Qvantum,” says Fredrik Rosenqvist, chief executive of Qvantum.
