PTS has won a major contract with British Gas to supply domestic products such as boilers and controls for use in central heating installations in homes across the UK.
From December, PTS began supplying 50% of the products British Gas needs to make its 100,000 installations each year.

Building up to the contract start date, PTS put stock, people and vehicles in place at 13 of its trade counters to meet the demand and speed of turnaround required.

The leading supplier of plumbing and heating is part of the BSS group, a market leading distributor to specialist trades.

Mark Earnshaw, PTS key accounts director, said: 'By focusing on 13 locations across the UK, we can consolidate our efforts to provide domestic heating and plumbing supplies quickly and directly to where they are needed. Each branch has dedicated staff to support the account and a call centre team to deal with requests quickly and efficiently'.
