Priva UK expands team as it sets sights on growth

Priva UK, a leading supplier of building control systems, has recruited outstanding performers into two key roles within its expanding team.

Adrian Scott and Malcolm McKechnie have joined Priva UK as sales and business development manager, and business development manager for Scotland, respectively.

Gavin Holvey, Priva UK’s UK and Ireland sales manager, said: “Both Adrian and Malcolm have extensive backgrounds in the controls sector and we are delighted they are on board. We have recognised that we need to strengthen our infrastructure and support to look after our larger clients in the commercial, retail, hotel and leisure sectors where we have some high profile, big brand-name projects.

“Adrian is returning to Priva to drive delivery of the company’s commercial plans. Meanwhile, Malcolm will be supporting commercial activity in Scotland using his extensive experience in delivering big projects in key sectors, having previously worked at companies such as SSE Enterprise.

“Both Adrian and Malcolm are highly respected in the controls and building services arena and will provide support for end-users and Priva partners as we continue expanding in that space.”

Mr Scott said: “It is great to be back at Priva and I’m very excited to work with the team to deliver on the company’s key projects.”

Mr McKechnie added: “I’m delighted to join the team at Priva driving business development in Scotland as the demand for energy efficiencies and smarter, better buildings becomes standard, instead of a ‘nice to have’ for building managers and occupants.”
