The venue for the second HVR Awards on 11 October 2011 will be the prestigious conference facility in the heart of London - 8 Northumberland.
The awards ceremony - which takes place on 11 October 2011 - celebrates excellence and innovation in the building services sector. The Awards recognise and reward companies that demonstrate excellence in their field, outstanding technology or exceptional customer service and true innovation in the way they operate or in what they produce.

There are seven awards categories:

Sustainable Product of the Year
This award recognises the company that has launched a product or service that can offer significant environmental impact reduction benefits. The category highlights organisations that have identified new ecologically- friendly products or services and successfully brought them to market or adapted an existing product for a new market.

Sustainable Project of the Year
This category is open to m&e contractors and consultant engineers who can demonstrate an understanding of sustainability in a project in which they have been involved. The award is open to organisations with the most innovative business ideas that have been put into practice to deliver a project that clearly demonstrates sustainability.

Commercial Ventilation Product of the Year
The top manufacturer or agent responsible for developing products that improve indoor air quality and increase comfort conditions in a commercial or industrial application will be recognised and rewarded in this category. It is open to companies that have launched relevant products in the UK between January 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011.

Commercial Heating Product of the Year
This award showcases the exciting new technologies being developed to provide space heating in commercial and industrial properties. It is open to companies that have launched relevant products in the UK between January 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011.

Air Conditioning Product of the Year
Nominations for this award are invited from manufacturers (or their agents) of any air conditioning or related product / component launched in the UK between June 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011. The award will recognise the most outstanding new air conditioning product or an exceptional development of existing technology.

Contractor of the Year
Progressive and enlightened contractors recognise the powerful marketing value of raising their profile through participation in a top-flight Awards ceremony. This award will generate positive publicity for the best commercial/industrial hvac installation company.

Consultant of the Year
This award provides compelling evidence of the brilliant talent in the building services design community by identifying and rewarding the brightest and best hvac consulting engineer.
