In total he donated more than £100, which will support a range of highly deserving children’s charities.

To support this year's Children in Need Appeal, managing director of Powrmatic, Phil Brompton, pledged to donate £1 from his own pocket for every order for heating, ventilation or air conditioning products the company received on Friday 14 November, the day of the appeal show.

In total he donated more than £100, which will support a range of highly deserving children’s charities.

In addition, Powrmatic staff organised a number of fund raising events, including a cake sale and being sponsored to dress in pyjamas or onesies for the day, bringing the grand total to £360.

Phil Brompton said: “BBC Children in Need is a fantastic cause so I’m delighted that we have been able to support it in so many ways across the company.”
