PH Jones wins solar accreditation

Property maintenance and multi-utility metering services provider PH Jones claims to be one of the first businesses to become accredited by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) to carry out solar photovoltaic installations.
Since the introduction of feed-in tariffs by the Government in April 2010, the popularity of solar photovoltaic energy has been growing in the UK. The solar electricity industry is predicted to be worth more than €100 billion by 2020.
PH Jones recently appointed Ian Harvey as renewable energy specialist, and his role will be to develop PH Jones' long-term renewable energy strategy as well as overseeing the business' renewable technology services and capabilities.
The recent solar photovoltaic accreditation adds to PH Jones' existing MCS accreditations for solar thermal hot water systems and heat pump systems installation.
