Panasonic strengthens HVAC specification team with three key appointments

Panasonic Heating and Cooling Solutions continues to invest in its commercial heating and cooling business with the expansion of its national specification sales team, appointing three new specification sales engineers to strengthen regional coverage and support consultants, designers and contractors across the UK.

The appointments follow a series of significant commercial product developments unveiled by Panasonic Heating & Cooling Solutions Europe at ISH/MCE 2026, reinforcing its long-term commitment to delivering sustainable, high-performance and digitally connected HVAC solutions for commercial buildings.

Matt Edney, Daniel Tierney and Danny Rimmer join the growing specification sales organisation, enhancing local presence while deepening technical and design-stage engagement on complex commercial projects.

Matt brings over two decades of experience in technical sales, HVAC specification and commercial building services. His background includes senior specification and sales roles within water treatment, building solutions and commercial heating products, with a strong track record of working closely with M&E consultants and contractors to secure specifications on large-scale projects. Matt joined Panasonic in early 2026 and is based in the South East, supporting consultants through early design engagement and CPD delivery.

Daniel joins Panasonic from Baxi Commercial, where he supported heating and hot water solutions into the specification market. With previous experience as a public health engineer, Daniel brings valuable design-side insight, understanding consultant decision-making, BIM workflows and compliance requirements. In his new role, he focuses on influencing HVAC strategies at concept stage, translating Panasonic’s commercial portfolio into compliant, efficient system designs.

Danny brings a strong engineering-led background, having progressed through design, specification and project delivery roles within sustainable cooling and refrigeration. With a degree in Building Services and Sustainable Engineering, his experience bridges detailed system design and practical project execution, enabling informed discussions with consultants on low-carbon, future-ready HVAC solutions. Danny supports specification activity across the North of the UK.

Together, the expanded team strengthens Panasonic Heating and Cooling Solutions’s ability to provide local, technically informed support throughout the design and specification process, ensuring consultants can confidently specify Panasonic solutions aligned with performance, efficiency and decarbonisation goals.

These appointments align with Panasonic’s recent commercial HVAC launches, announced in March 2026:

By strengthening its specification sales team alongside continued product innovation, Panasonic Heating and Cooling Solution’s says it is reinforcing its commitment to supporting the UK construction and building services industry with expert local engagement, robust technical support and a clear roadmap for sustainable commercial HVAC solutions.
