Matt Edney, Daniel Tierney and Danny Rimmer join the growing specification sales organisation, enhancing local presence while deepening technical and design-stage engagement on complex commercial projects.
Matt brings over two decades of experience in technical sales, HVAC specification and commercial building services. His background includes senior specification and sales roles within water treatment, building solutions and commercial heating products, with a strong track record of working closely with M&E consultants and contractors to secure specifications on large-scale projects. Matt joined Panasonic in early 2026 and is based in the South East, supporting consultants through early design engagement and CPD delivery.
Daniel joins Panasonic from Baxi Commercial, where he supported heating and hot water solutions into the specification market. With previous experience as a public health engineer, Daniel brings valuable design-side insight, understanding consultant decision-making, BIM workflows and compliance requirements. In his new role, he focuses on influencing HVAC strategies at concept stage, translating Panasonic’s commercial portfolio into compliant, efficient system designs.
Danny brings a strong engineering-led background, having progressed through design, specification and project delivery roles within sustainable cooling and refrigeration. With a degree in Building Services and Sustainable Engineering, his experience bridges detailed system design and practical project execution, enabling informed discussions with consultants on low-carbon, future-ready HVAC solutions. Danny supports specification activity across the North of the UK.
Together, the expanded team strengthens Panasonic Heating and Cooling Solutions’s ability to provide local, technically informed support throughout the design and specification process, ensuring consultants can confidently specify Panasonic solutions aligned with performance, efficiency and decarbonisation goals.
