Panasonic ProAcademy training centre open for business

Panasonic's ProAcademy has opened the doors of its new facility in Bracknell.
A two day event showcased a number of new product innovations as well as giving guests an insight into recent growth at Panasonic.

Enrique Vilimitjana, managing director of Panasonic Home Appliance Air Conditioning Europe (PHAAE) said: 'We have ambitious, yet achievable growth targets and this investment in people, products and facilities will help us work with our distributors to reach these goals - we aim to achieve £80m turnover in the UK by 2015. At Panasonic we know what a great responsibility it is to install heating and cooling systems. That's why we have invested in the Panasonic ProAcademy here in Bracknell, embracing the traditional hands-on training approach. The ProAcademy is designed to bridge the gap between text-book theory and hands-on learning.'

UK and Ireland country manager, Marc Diaz, outlined the programme of support and investment including, new field sales staff, new training support - both in person and online - as well as a continuing programme of marketing and technical back-up. Panasonic also highlighted the Pro Club elearning facility, embracing today's technology, offering access 24-7, as well as providing the most up-to-date Panasonic software.
