Online videos aim to boost awareness of heat pump technology

Mitsubishi Electric has launched two online videos to highlight the benefits of renewable heat pump technology for homeowners and landlords.
Online videos aim to boost awareness of heat pump technology
The first animation focuses on how the Ecodan range can offer reduced running costs, ease installation and lower carbon emissions for social housing providers and landlords. Not only do organisations operating in this sector need to help combat fuel poverty amongst tenants, they also face increasing pressure to lower their organisation's overall carbon footprint.

The second video looks at the issues from a homeowner's point of view and highlights how renewable Ecodan can provide a viable, cost-effective alternative to the escalating price of oil heating.

Both videos can be viewed on the company's website at www.heating.mitsubishielectric.co.uk and on the dedicated Youtube site www.youtube.com/user/mitsubishielectric2.

Marketing communications manager, Graham Temple, said: 'We have created these films as part of a campaign of increasing awareness of heat pumps in advance of the launch of the Renewable Heat Incentive.

'As we build up to the official launch of the RHI scheme, we expect interest in renewable technologies to grow. We know that heat pumps can provide one of the quickest and most cost-effective ways of capitalising on RHI payments and these films highlight just how easy it can be to get a heat pump installed.'
