Nominate your installer heroes

Conex Bänninger has teamed up with darts legend Bobby George to search for the UK’s Installer Heroes of 2020.

The plumbing fittings and valves manufacturer is seeking to celebrate caring installers and ACR engineers who have ‘gone above and beyond’ in these challenging times.

It is inviting nominations from those who have helped out deserving individuals or supported their local community through ‘off-the-clock’ installations or repairs, or in some other way unrelated to their normal job.

One overall winner will be rewarded with the Installer Heroes 2020 trophy, >B< Press fittings, Conex Bänninger merchandise and a valuable REMS press tool. In addition, three runners-up will be selected and rewarded with a £100 Amazon voucher each.

Dan Wild, UK and Ireland Business Unit Director for Conex Bänninger, said: “We’re thrilled to be announcing the launch of our Installer Heroes Awards. We’ve seen some really inspiring people within the HVACR sector who have worked selflessly to make their community a better place, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It might be that they repaired a boiler for free for a local playgroup, fundraised for charity or delivered food to those who were in need. The Installer Heroes Award is about showcasing those who have gone the extra mile. It’s a great way for us to highlight some of the remarkable individuals we have working in the industry and providing them with the recognition they deserve.”

Talking of the Installer Heroes Awards, Bobby George added: “Having built my own house, I know first hand how hard the trades have to work. They really are a caring bunch and I’m delighted to be supporting the Installer Heroes Awards.”

Nominations are open from 2nd– 22nd November and can be submitted by sending a direct message to Conex Bänninger on Twitter, Instagram or via email to: installerheroes@hroc.co.uk
