New year, new skills webinar

Conex Bänninger is inviting plumbers and heating engineers to learn new skills in the new year by registering for the latest in a series of free webinars.

The 30-minute e-learning event will take place on Thursday, 14 January, at 6.30pm and will focus on the company’s >B< Press range, 12mm to 54mm.

It follows two successful webinars, held in November, that are part of a broader company initiative to extend its reach to installers using social media and digital platforms.

January’s webinar includes an introduction to >B< Press, its key applications and technical parameters, and the installer benefits. It also covers press tools, selecting the correct jaw profile, installation instructions and a workshop with a live demonstration.

Dan Wild, UK and Ireland business unit director, said: “The sessions are proving very popular, as more and more plumbers and heating engineers are being converted by the advantages that press fittings have over traditional brazing.

“We have scheduled the January webinar for early evening to make it convenient for installers and contracting companies who don’t have the time to log-on during the day.

“Press technology enables the user to complete jobs more quickly and to have greater confidence that agreed timescales will be met.

“Enabling improvements in productivity will be increasingly important as the HVAC industry seeks to play its part in building momentum behind an economic recovery.”
