New trade buying group launched for heating contractors

Brimble Elton Enterprises, the independent heating merchants, has launched a new initiative – the BEE Trade Buying Group available to everyone.

Responding to the needs of independent heating contractors, the BEE Trade Buying Group brings together these professional heating installation companies across the UK to provide a collective strength, purchasing power and knowledge base for all types of boilers, renewables, parts and materials used within the industry.

Managing director Paul Brimble explains: “We were keen to provide an efficient trading platform to allow contractors to operate more effectively through using the BEE Buying Group to source best quality items at the most competitive pricing levels.”

The BEE Trade Buying Group constantly negotiates with industry merchants and manufacturers on behalf of its members. This means that new avenues of rebate schemes are continuously opening and that the portfolio of products included in the discount structures is always expanding.

Companies joining the BEE Buying Group will benefit from group purchasing power, increased supplier discount levels, rebate schemes, higher margins and profits. It is a support package that lowers project material costs and works with members from tender stage through to delivery and after sales support.

There is a great incentive for contractors to become members of the BEE Buying Group. Importantly, existing relationships that a contractor has with merchants and manufacturer’s sales teams are improved by being part of the group and membership is entirely free of charge.

Contractors interested in joining the scheme will be reassured by the comprehensive process that the BEE Trade Buying Group has in place for new members. Following receipt of a new application, a confidentiality agreement is drawn up for both parties to sign. The group then conducts a full confidential audit of purchasing by the applicant over the previous three to six months to establish current suppliers, quantity levels purchased and discount structures. All of this information is then fully analysed, feeding into the BEE Buying Group database algorithms so that estimated savings, improved discounts and rebates can then be produced for the new company member.

In day to day terms, the BEE Trade Buying Group works on behalf of the new member to monitor, review and produce invoices, statements and rebates whilst keeping track of orders and deliveries real time. Support from the group continues beyond the day to day providing pre-sales advice, after sales service and advance information of new discounts, prices and products.
