New strategic appointment for ENER-G

ENER-G has appointed Yan Evans as group business development director.
New strategic appointment for ENER-G
Mr Evans will report to group managing director Derek Duffill on 'a wide-ranging remit to drive ongoing growth'.

He joins the Salford-based ENER-G from Baxi's commercial division, where he was technical director with responsibility for the market-leading Potterton Commercial and Andrews Water Heater brands.

His achievements at Baxi included helping to establish the commercial division in 2007 and developing the company's combined heat and power (CHP) business in the UK, having established Baxi Technologies UK in 2003. He also headed up the development of Baxi's commercial product and services portfolio, which embraced renewable technologies such as solar thermal and heat pumps.

He is a chartered engineer, registered in both the UK and Europe, and is a member of Institute of Engineering and Technology, the Energy Institute, the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
