New membership manager at BSRIA

BSRIA has appointed Stacey Ward as membership manager, effective from Monday July 2. 

Stacey Ward, BSRIA's newly appointed membership manager.

Well-known within industry and with members alike, Mr Ward was previously instrument sales manager, BSRIA Instrument Solutions, for 10 years.

Mr Ward joined BSRIA in October 2001 as an apprentice technician in the instrument solutions laboratories while studying at Bracknell and Wokingham College. He joined the BSRIA Instrument Solutions (BIS) sales team in summer 2003 as a sales technician. 

In 2008, he became a thermographer and Part F ventilation tester – before going on to take up the challenge of being sales manager, managing a team of nine. Over this period, Mr Ward played a fundamental role in delivering consistent year-on-year growth for the instrument sales department. 

Tim Page, marketing manager at BSRIA, said: “Stacey brings with him both experience and enthusiasm. We see his promotion as an essential step in our continued development for the strategic direction BSRIA is taking for 2018 and beyond. This role is crucial for the building and maintaining of BSRIA member relationships.

With Stacey’s background, he brings customer facing and client relationship building capability, and of course a vast knowledge of BSRIA and its members. I know Stacey will be a first-rate and very popular appointment. Stacey is also a shining example of where an apprenticeship can lead.”

Mr Ward added: “I am very excited about my appointment into this role and the opportunities therein to enhance BSRIA’s reputation and support its members and client base, both nationally and globally.
