Pump manufacturer Wilo UK , has appointed former Armstrong man Gary Mannus as its new managing director.
New MD hired at WILO UK
Gary Mannus has been a managing director of Polynorm UK and group director of the Flamco Group supplying products to the building, heating, air conditioning sectors.

Mannus has also worked as operations director for Combined Power Systems, a joint venture company that manufactured, distributed and installed combined heat and power systems.

The new md joins Wilo from pump manufacturer Armstrong but began his career as an air conditioning engineer.

He said: 'During my time with Armstrong, I've watched Wilo's activities from a distance with interest and I'm looking forward to being able to lead the company to further growth and even wider acceptance in the sectors in which we operate. The pump marketplace in the UK has for a while, had one major player, with Wilo in second place and a number of other companies in the pack behind them. Wilo has been making impressive strides in recent years and has built its marketshare, but there's still a lot more to achieve and several potential marketplaces where we can make a greater impact than we are currently'.
