New marketing appointment at Samsung

Samsung, a specialist in climate solutions, has expanded its growing climate solutions team, appointing a new marketing manager.

Jon Brigly has joined Samsung as marketing manager for the climate solutions

Samsung has welcomed Jon Brigly as marketing manager for the climate solutions division who will be looking after the heating and cooling campaigns.

Jon joins Samsung from Philips, where he worked for the health systems team as marketing manager for the MRI and CT product portfolios. Prior to that, he worked at BOC for 11 years, in various marketing roles mainly across the welding and industrial gas sectors, where he was responsible for campaigns, new product launches, promotions and advertising.

Commenting on his move to Samsung, Jon says: “It’s an exciting time to be joining Samsung, they are an incredibly ambitious team with market leading products and I’m really looking forward to being a part of it. I see many opportunities for growth in the industry for Samsung this year; product innovation like the Wind-Free technology can be a real game changer in terms of climate experience and energy efficiency.”

Steve Fleming, head of air conditioning added: “At Samsung, we invest heavily in our staff to ensure we have the best team possible and we are delighted to be welcoming Jon to our team. It’s been a tricky start to the year, what with the COVID-19 pandemic, but we’re confident that our team is the strongest it can possibly be to embrace these new challenges in the industry.”
