The new service facilities provided by Andrews Chiller Hire and Andrews Boiler Hire will operate out of Andrews Sykes existing Grangemouth depot. Each division will be managed and staffed by experienced engineers that will ensure an even speedier response to organisations seeking a temporary chilling and heating solution.

Recourse to emergency chiller or boiler hire can happen as a result of in-plant downtime due to a number of things such as component failure or equipment taken off-line for routine maintenance. This type of equipment is also hired when existing plant cannot cope due to increased productivity or is unable to handle local ambient environments or additional short-term chilled storage is required.

The new service centre for the Andrews Chiller and Andrews Boiler divisions mean that it now operates from more than 24 depots across the UK providing a solution to the most demanding short and long-term hire situations. Its air-cooled chillers are available for hire in sizes up to 750kW and where there is demand for a higher rating, units can be connected in parallel. Andrews Boiler hire is able to supply boiler equipment from 22kW to multi-megawatt packages.

Hire of a boiler or chiller from Andrews Sykes can prove the ideal emergency solution. They have well-stocked depots strategically positioned across the country; a dedicated team providing 24/7, 365 day service meaning response times will always be extremely fast. 'The new Grangemouth service centre was an important addition to our extensive list of service centres', says Carl Webb, Director of the Andrews Specialist Hire Division, 'engineers from Grangemouth will be able to uphold the Company's commitment of responding to a customers demand within 4 hours - the fast response means minimum plant downtime or help in maintaining a better working environment.
