New business development appointment for Dravo

Dravo has strengthened its team in the UK with the appointment of Chris Boroughs as business development manager.

Chris Boroughs is Dravo's new business development manager

Mr Boroughs brings 13 years of HVAC knowledge and experience with him and will be responsible for enhancing the Dravo brand and reputation as market leaders in heating and ventilation solutions as well as developing and expanding customer relationships throughout the whole of the UK. He will also be involved in specific projects notably on the specification side, he will be working alongside contractors and specifiers to deliver successful HVAC solutions.

Mr Boroughs commented: “I am delighted to join the Dravo team, I am looking forward to driving the business forward and meeting customers face to face after what has been a very challenging time for the country as a whole. I feel there is a positivity and confidence within the industry about the forthcoming months.”

Carbon reductions for northern arena

Rinnai hot water systems are projected to produce ‘significant’ carbon reductions at a huge indoor arena in the North of England. The company has produced a designed system based on its R290 high-temperature heat pump. This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
