A trained structural engineer, David brings with him decades of experience gained from spending almost his whole working life in the façade sector of the construction industry.

He said: “The industry is always facing commercial pressures. With the increasing emphasis on sustainable strategies, the solutions and support Gilberts brings to the table can only alleviate those pressures for specifiers and installers. I’m looking forward to tackling the new challenge, developing projects with old and new friends.”

Gilberts Blackpool is a specialist in independent air movement, with a focus on louvres and natural ventilation. Its systems have been used in buildings ranging from the Grade 1 listed Natural History Museum through to Tata Technologies’ European headquarters to the first building in Ireland to achieve WELLv2.
