The National Energy Management Exhibition (NEMEX) has announced details of the forthcoming energy management event next year.
The event will feature the latest advances in renewable energy products, energy management services and energy efficient technologies, bringing together energy executives and decision makers under one roof at the NEC Birmingham.
Event organisers say that in the past two years the number of visitors has increased by 37 per cent, with the 2012 show marking its 30th anniversary.
The event will be held from May 22-24 which will include a new conference theatre, transforming the ideas and advice available at this free-to-visit event.
Main sessions on the new stage will cover energy policy, EMR - Electricity Market Reform, procurement and energy supply, REMIT, energy saving, grants and financing, and CRC. There will also be a UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) session and Utility Week magazine will run sessions for its readers, as will MEUC - the Major Energy Users Council.
There will also be seminar theatres tackling topics such as behavioural change, carbon reduction, energy management, lighting, renewables, smart metering, voltage optimisation and more which has been overseen by the steering group which includes ESTA, EiBI, Tesco and the Energy Institute.
Event director Donna Bushell said: 'Just as the drive to save money through energy efficiency is an ongoing challenge for many organisations, so we are continually reviewing what is on offer at NEMEX, to ensure it offers the latest innovations, ideas and advice, all under one roof.
'The opening of our new main stage theatre is testament to our determination that NEMEX 2012 will be the unmissable event of the year, whatever the size of the operation you represent and at whatever stage you are at in reducing its carbon footprint.'
The 2012 show will take place on May 22-24 in halls 3 and 3a at the NEC, Birmingham.
