Nationwide Filter Company set for name change

Nationwide Filter Company is changing its name to GVS Filter Technology effective from 1 August this year.
The company was established in 1991 as one of six businesses within the Fenchurch Environmental Group. It quickly grew to become one of the UK's leading hvac filter manufacturers with its manufacturing base in Morecambe, Lancashire.

In 2011, a joint venture between sister company Air Safety and Italian medical filter specialist GVS was launched.

Founded in 1979, GVS is a global technology leader in the development and manufacture of filtration products, with bases in 16 countries.

GVS Group subsequently acquired the Fenchurch Group in December 2012. In February this year Fenchurch shares were acquired by the GVS Group and as a result, Nationwide Filters, Active Carbon and Remploy Hepa Filters of Barrow will now become GVS Filter Technology.
