National Skills Academy welcomes Acutest

Test equipment specialist Acutest has become the National Skills Academy for Environmental Technologies' latest hub and platinum member.

The partnership will see Acutest, through its training brand Severn College, delivering solar photovoltaic qualifications and test equipment training at its Staffordshire and Shropshire training centres.

The Skills Academy's nationwide network of accredited trainers will also receive product training on equipment such as thermal imaging cameras, specialist solar testers and power quality analysers to contribute towards their continuing professional development. Through their association with the Skills Academy, installers and trainers will also receive special rates on Acutest's products and services.

Cathryn Hickey, executive director of the Skills Academy, said: 'Acutest's knowledge and expertise in test equipment brings valuable new perspectives into the National Skills Academy network. We're delighted to add this specialism to our portfolio and look forward to a successful relationship with our partners at Acutest.'
