Managed Support Services (MSS) has been awarded a maintenance contract at LEGOLAND Discovery Centre in The Trafford Centre, Manchester.
The rolling agreement follows the completion of a five-month interior fit-out project undertaken by the building services and compliance business for mechanical services at the LEGOLAND site.
MSS was initially appointed by Styles & Wood, a provider of property services for retailers, to install all mechanical requirements including air conditioning, ventilation, hot and cold water and BMS controls. Additional air conditioning was also fitted in a second phase of work to overcome high temperatures in some of the public areas.
MSS will now deliver a full range of building maintenance services including hvac, building fabric, building management system and water treatment. The operation will use the company's engineering network and provide all planned and reactive needs.
