Mitsubishi Power Systems Europe (MPSE), a subsidiary of MHI, has bought Belgium m&e firm Maintenance Partners.
Maintenance Partners is a leading firm in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg for the maintenance, repair and reconditioning of m&e equipment including reciprocating compressors.

'By acquiring MP, we are now able to offer our customers in the EMENA [Europe, the Middle East and Africa] area a total package that goes beyond the mere supply of top of the range machines, but also offers them certainty about the entire life cycle, including maintenance, repair and spare parts, and certified reliability.' said Yoshihiro Tsuchiyama, deputy general manager of Power systems business strategy & planning department, MHI and Eiji Akita, VP of Service development at MPSE.

MHI said in order to offer service and support to the current projects of MHI/MPSE in the EMENA area, MHI said Maintenance Partners will 'attract extra workers in the years to come, ranging from engineers and technicians to mechanics, electricians, metalworkers.'
