The Manufacturers' Association of Radiators and Convectors (MARC) is launching a new website in a bid to raise its visibility as an industry body.
The website - www.marcuk.com - will act as a directory for each of MARC's 12 members providing links to all of its members' websites, as well as highlighting industry issues.
The site will also offer facts and figures, information about industry standards, news releases and act as a point of contact for the agency.
John Colling, chairman of MARC, said: 'MARC is a long standing organisation, one that was established to give a particular voice to the radiator and convector industry, focusing on the specific needs of, and issues faced by, manufacturers and giving collective voice to its members.'
MARC, which is a subsidiary organisation of the 71-year-old BARMA - the Boiler and Radiator Manufacturers' Association - was originally established to represent the interests of its members, which comprise more than 90 per cent of the UK radiator market.
Its membership includes:
· Rettig Group: Myson, Purmo, Vogel & Noot
· ISG: Stelrad, Henrad
· Quinn: Quinn Radiators, Merriott
· Zehnder Group: Bisque, Zehnder
· Vaillant Group: Heatline
