Air management expert Mansfield Pollard has strengthened its growing relationship with Bradford College by sponsoring two categories at its Higher Education Awards ceremony.

Held on 13 May at the College’s newly refurbished Dyehouse Gallery, the annual event recognises the academic achievements and personal triumphs of the college’s higher education students. 

A wide range of awards were handed out to the top achievers, with Mansfield Pollard sponsoring the Mechanical Engineering award and the Engineering Electrical Student award, which was won by Aftab Hussain, a trainee engineer at the company.

Aftab had displayed ability, commitment and professionalism to succeed in his chosen area of study and his hard work resulted in a First Class Honours Degree in BEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering and overall Distinction grade in HND Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

By nurturing links with Bradford College, Mansfield Pollard is further boosting its position as an employer of choice in the area and continues to promote the message that the manufacturing and engineering sector can provide stimulating and fulfilling career.
