London HEVAR brings more Heat Pump talks

It proved to be such a hit in Manchester, that organisers behind HEVAR have hooked up with the Heat Pump Association again to offer more in-depth briefings on heat pumps for the London HEVAR 2009 exhibition
London HEVAR brings more Heat Pump talks
The HVAC exhibition takes place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Victoria on September 23-24, 2009 and on both days will include the popular Heat Pump seminar hosted by Tony Bowen, president of the Heat Pump Association.

When it debuted as a half-day event at the Manchester HEVAR, show visitors packed the seminar room resulting in many attendees eager enough to stand outside and listen to what was being said.

Other crowd-pulling seminars will also be back at London HEVAR. Both the HVCA and CIBSE will be taking morning sessions on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. Details of both sessions will be published soon here.

The HEVAR team has introduced to London HEVAR a third seminar theatre. Seminar Theatre three will be dedicated to exhibitor presentations. Visitors will be able to see companies such as Lochinvar, Broag, S&S Northern, Spirotech, ECMK, Medem and Systemair take part.

Another London HEVAR first will be the Demo Area on the show floor. The area will see live demonstrations of HVAC products and services from exhibitors throughout the duration of the two-day exhibition. The demo timetable will be published soon here

All visitors are entitled to a free drink or lunch. All who pre-register for London HEVAR and visit the show will get the chance to win a bottle of wine, courtesy of Spirotech.

Carbon reductions for northern arena

Rinnai hot water systems are projected to produce ‘significant’ carbon reductions at a huge indoor arena in the North of England. The company has produced a designed system based on its R290 high-temperature heat pump. This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
