London HEVAR 2009 heat pump talks

Details of the popular heat pump talks at London HEVAR 2009 have been released.
President of the Heat Pump Association Tony Bowen will discuss grants, regulations, standards and training at London HEVAR's Royal Horticultural Halls on September 23-24.

Andy Neave is scheduled to discuss heat pump types and their characteristics. Bill Bucknell will explore heat distribution, heat loss design, radiators and fan convectors and Chris Ingram will talk about 'Heat distribution in underfloor heating'.

Other speakers include Mike Nankivell who will speak about 'Heatpumps in commercial buildings'.

Catherine Russell will discuss the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.

The seminars take place from 1pm - 4pm on Wednesday, September 23 and from 10am-1pm on Thursday September 24.

London HEVAR 2009 takes place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Greycoat Street, London on September 23-24.

Carbon reductions for northern arena

The company has produced a designed system based on its R290 high-temperature heat pump. This arena regularly hosts large events such as concerts, conferences, theatre plays, exhibitions, live music and other conventions – so the site must have an energy efficient and carbon-reducing hot water system to achieve NetZero.
