The private sector training provider is taking over the running of the College's gas department from February, which will then operate as a Logic4training centre in a more convenient location for East London customers, as well as providing courses for learners who have come to the end of their apprenticeship and need to complete their ACS.

Cathy Walsh, principal and CEO of Barking & Dagenham College, said: 'This partnership even further enhances the College's reputation as the region's centre of excellence for all Construction and the Built Environment training. As organisations we share a vision to offer gas industry professionals ready access to the highest quality training possible, and I am delighted to announce this new venture.'

Kevin Budd, managing director of Logic4training, said: 'This is a great opportunity for Logic4training; the College has excellent facilities so we can move straight in and start delivering gas courses to installers. Barking & Dagenham College also benefits as its learners will receive industry-level ACS assessment from one of the leading providers in the South East.'
