Lindab opens super branch in Manchester
The new branch in Manchester's Trafford Park draws strength from the melding of two specialist teams into a one unit with a single focus - the customer. Investment in both manufacturing technology and stock will bring a greatly improved service to ventilation contractors across the north west.

Branch manager Michelle Jones and her experienced staff - including Kevin Doody in field sales - will be able to offer by far the largest and most comprehensive stock of ductwork, fans and accessories in this key area.

The huge product range will include both traditional Vent type fittings and the innovative Lindab Safe and Safe Click systems. A full range of fans will also be available including units from Elta, Systemair, Helios and Vent-Axia for every type of domestic, commercial and industrial application.

Lindab has equipped the new Manchester branch with the very latest in production machinery for spiral tube and fittings. Ductwork up to 2.0m in diameter can be manufactured in the branch. Ample supplies of Safe and Safe Click fittings will be held in stock to meet the fast-growing demand from contractors seeking greater on site efficiency.

Mike Goodspeed, joint managing director of Lindab Ventilation, recognises the vital contribution this production line can make.

'Our manufacturing facility will ensure fast, reliable supplies of top quality ductwork for customers in greater Manchester, Merseyside and the surrounding area, even during periods of peak demand,' he said.

'Local production also helps to keep prices competitive.

'The Lindab Manchester team will be able to offer the customer an even better service.'
