Life's Good with 22% growth target for 2008

LG has announced it is aiming for 22% growth in its global air-conditioner shipments this year to $5 billion.
LG air conditioning is aiming at a global sales target of $5 billion with the emerging markets of Brazil and India being the main avenue of growth.

Nho Hwan-yong, executive vice president of LG's air conditioning division said LG expects growing sales in emerging markets, such as India and Brazil, to offset the impact of a slower U.S. economy.

LG reported $4.1 billion in 2007 air conditioner shipments and $4.8 billion in sales, according to the company.

LG is targeting growth in both global residential and commercial air conditioning products.
