Pumps, valves and related systems manufacturer KSB has taken an 80 per cent share in Copenhagen-based T. Smedegaard A/S.
KSB takes over Danish pump manufacturer
'The take-over aims at securing our building services project business in the areas of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning,' said KSB chairman Dr Wolfgang Schmitt.

KSB will integrate the Smedegaard circulating pumps into its existing product portfolio. The pumps manufactured in Copenhagen, Denamrk and Beinwil am See, Switzerland will round off KSB's building services pump offering.

Smedegaard's previous sole owner, Mr Sören Smedegaard, remains in the company and will assume responsibility for sales as one of the company's two managing directors.
