Kinetics moves into top profit table

Building maintenance firm Kinetics Group has made the top 50 of the Sunday Times Profit Track 100 list.
The firm's growth has boosted profits 60% a year from £1.2m in 2005 to £4.7m in 2008.

Kinetics was ranked 49th in the league table, which measures companies' profit growth over their last three financial years.

The national provider of building maintenance, refurbishment and gas services has pursued a buy and build strategy which led to it making eight acquisitions since its 2006 buyout.

Now the fourth largest employer of gas service engineers in the UK, the company has 22 technical centres in the UK.
