K-Flex UK has appointed David Ward as technical sales engineer (insulation) based at its UK operation in Leicestershire.

David has extensive knowledge of the insulation industry having spent 12 years in insulation distribution and a further 18 years specialising on the specification of NBR insulation into commercial projects and the development of technical foams into a variety of markets, including the automotive sector, via the converter market.

His new role will involve technical support to the UK sales team, specifiers and distributors, project management and the development of the company’s new technical foam and 3M fire protection products.

In addition, he will assist in product installation training, supporting the company’s customers’ installer base in the installation and application of the K-Flex range of products.
