Commenting on the awards, HVR editor Heather Ramsden said:

'We have had an excellent response for this year's awards and I can report that all categories are highly competitive. This is undoubtedly an indication that despite uncertain political times, the UK's HVAC companies are continuing to innovate and believe strongly in the excellence of their products.'

'The Customer service person of the Year and the Trainee of the Year give you a chance to nominate one of the industry's unsung heroes. Customer service personnel often work behind the scenes and are therefore not always acknowledged, but never-the-less have a significant impact on a company's success. At the same time our trainees have never been more important while the industry strives to boost its pool of trained professionals and tackle the alarming skills crisis.'
